what is NCV of multimeter and Clamp meter?

Now many digital multimeters and digital clamp meter have NCV functions. what is NCV? NCV is the abbreviation of Non contact voltage. It is the principle of electromagnetic or electric field induction to determine whether there is a voltage, which is similar to the function of the inductive test pen, without the direct contact with the charged object. For example, it is used to find buried electric wires in the walls, or to search for buried broken lines. Suitable for high ac voltage use, only to judge whether the voltage exists, not to measure the specific voltage.

For example, our clamp meter: UA2008 series and UA3268 series, multimeter :UA78 series and UA19 series, all have NCV functions, so that users can easily and quickly determine whether there is a voltage.
